Event key details

P&J Live, Aberdeen
15th November 2023 - 16th November 2023
12:00am - 12:00am

We will have representation from 10 Operators on both days of the Conference. We encourage you to visit the Operator Stand which is located next to the ICoTA Europe Stand. They want to hear all about your technologies, solutions and ideas so this is a fantastic opportunity to get in front of them.

Details of 10 participating Operators. Please read on to find out about their issues and what they are looking for the supply chain to help with.

Jamie Cochran, Aramco Overseas

What solutions can you provide....

  • ·New Technologies for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving in Well Operations
  • Equipment for Ultra High H2S Well Intervention
  • Downhole Water Management and Conformance

Day 1 - 1000-1200 - AKERBP

Tora Must Hatlebakk & Bjorn Engvald Nilsen, AkerBP

What solutions can you provide....

  • Coiled Tubing Cleanout in Low Reservoir Pressure Environments
  • The Impact of Coiled Tubing on Completion Wear
  • Strategies for Effective Water Shut-Off

Day 1 - 1330-1430 - ITHACA

Nathan Wood & Neil Smith, Ithaca

What solutions can you provide....

  • Scale inhibition Campaign in Platform and Subsea Wells.
  • Re-instate Production via a Heavy Duty Jack-Up using Coiled Tubing & Wireline equipment that allows logging, perforation, chemical treatments and re-instate functionality of the subsurface safety valve.
  • P&A campaign on wells with integrity issues and high concentrations of H2S.

Day 1 - 1430-1630 - Shell U.K. Ltd

Kellie Karimi & Manuel Guzman Fernandez, Shell U.K. Ltd

What solutions can you provide...

  • Gas ingress into subsea hydraulic SSSV lines (hydrates)
  • Tubing to A-annulus communication (fit a straddle that doesn’t have a min ID)
  • Water shut off options

Day 1 - 1430-1630 - HARBOUR ENERGY

Mark Oatey, Harbour Energy

What solutions can you provide...

  • Maximising data gathering opportunities during standard intervention scopes
  • Scale and debris management
  • Late life issues – well integrity and liquid loading

Day 2 - 1000-1200 - BP

Hartona Sagala, James Paterson, Mike Smith, bp

What solutions can you provide...

  • DHSV Reliability

*Unblocking blocked control lines.

*Gas ingress through control lines.

*Options for failed control lines.

  • Automatization for Well Interventions:

*What is the progression in the industry to remove manual labour in well interventions?

*How we can reduce the POB for interventions? (e.g. Stimulation, CT interventions…)

  • Management of late life in the wells with integrity issues. (SCP)

Day 2 - 1000-1200 - TotalEnergies

Richard Innes & Graeme Cowie, TotalEnergies

What solutions can you provide...

  • Scale Management & Prevention: This is not a new one but the most challenging subject!. TEPUK encounter Calcium Carbonate, Barium Sulphate and Exotic scales (Zinc and Lead Sulphide) across our Well stock.
  • Well Restoration: New technology for increased Well uptime. Mechanical and alternative solutions for Insert valve, straddles, patches and providing long term sealing in challenging wellbores.
  • 3P&A Techniques/Optimisation

Day 2 - 1330-1430 - EQUINOR

Tor Kristian Holst, Equinor

What solutions can you provide...

  • Scale, sand & debri removal
  • CT materials technology
  • HSE related; «Hands-free» & remote operated WL intervention top-side equipment

Day 2 - 1430-1630 - REPSOL RESOURCES UK

Brian Martin, Gordon McFarlane and Barry Dean, Repsol Resources UK

What solutions can you provide...

  • Resource Capacity of the service sector (Personnel & Equipment)
  • Leaking Bridge Plug solutions
  • Thru Tubing Abandonment Solutions / behind pipe cement evaluation

Day 2 - 1430-1630 - TAQA

Simon Mackay & Darren Bewick, TAQA

What solutions can you provide...

  • Well Decommissioning - reduction in well intervention’s reducing risk. A well typically well requires a deep-set plug to isolate the reservoir, punch and/or tubing cut to circulate and prepare for recovery and shallow set plug/s in preparation for tree removal.
  • Through tubing logging of annulus cement
  • Cessation of Production (COP)
